Y-Tex Python Maxima Insecticidal Cattle Ear Tags will be unavailable for the 2023 – 2024 fly season.

Active Ingredients: Piperonyl Butoxide @ 200g/kg & Zeta-Cypermethrin @ 100g/kg

Y-Tex Python Maxima is a sustained-release, plastic ear tag containing a synergized formulation of zeta-cypermethrin, a potent, enriched S-isomer pyrethroid compound. This insecticide has excellent activity against many ectoparasites of cattle. Y-Tex Python Maxima’s larger net weight of 15.4 grams per tag provides greater insecticide release for maximum effectiveness against buffalo flies and other ectoparasites. Python Maxima provides an excellent tool for rotation with other insecticides.

One tag should be applied per animal (1 ear only) for Buffalo Fly (up to 12 weeks) and Cattle Biting Lice control.  As ear damage may occur, Y-Tex Python Maxima is contraindicated for use on calves that are less than three (3) months.
