Shield Pour-On Fly Repellent for Horses is Australia’s only pour-on formulation designed specifically to aid in the control of nuisance flies, biting insects and Queensland itch in horses. Shield offers a practical alternative to sprays and wipes, making application quicker and more economical per treatment.

Directions for Use

Apply Shield along the backline of the horse, ensuring coverage of the mane and rump. Avoid contact with eyes. For best results, apply during cooler parts of the day and allow 12–24 hours for the product to dry before activities such as brushing, rugging or washing.

Dosage by Bodyweight:

• Less than 100kg: 10mL
• 100–200kg: 20mL
• 200–300kg: 30mL
• Over 300kg: 40mL

Repeat treatment every 6 weeks or as needed depending on insect pressure. Sensitivity test is recommended by applying a small stripe (10–15cm) on the base of the neck and monitoring for 3 days before full application.
