Designed for tail docking and castration, it makes lamb marking faster, cleaner and more humane. Since 2019, over 3.3 million doses have been used across Australia, helping producers manage pain effectively while improving animal welfare outcomes.

Best Practice Pain Management
The Numnuts Applicator is ideal for use during ring castration and tail docking. For extended pain relief, many producers also use an NSAID such as meloxicam. If you’re using knife or blade methods, Tri-Solfen is recommended for direct wound application. Combining fast-acting local anaesthetics with longer-acting NSAIDs supports faster healing and improved growth rates.
