How it works

This ready-to-use poultice combines montmorillonite clay with essential oils and minerals to draw out heat and reduce inflammation. The active ingredients such as magnesium sulphate and potassium aluminium sulphate work to ease pain and tighten the leg, while peppermint and eucalyptus oils provide antiseptic and soothing effects.

When to use Swelldown

• After training, trialling or racing
• After events or travel
• On hard or bruised feet
• At the first sign of heat or swelling

Application instructions

Legs:

1. Clean area thoroughly
2. Apply a liberal amount of Swelldown
3. Wrap with moist paper and secure with cohesive bandage
4. Leave for 2–4 hours, then wash off

Feet:

1. Pack sole with Swelldown for bruising or soreness
2. Hold in place using moist paper and a hoof boot

Note: Limit application to once every 24 hours.
