Ivomec Plus Injection for Cattle
Ivomec Plus Injection for Cattle provides broad-spectrum control of internal and external parasites including roundworms, liver fluke, lungworm, eyeworm, lice, mites and cattle ticks. With dual actives—ivermectin and clorsulon—it offers powerful coverage and flexibility for effective parasite management in beef and dairy herds.

- Small brown stomach worm – Ostertagia ostertagi
- Brown stomach worm – O. lyrata
- Barber’s pole worm – Haemonchus placei
- Stomach hairworm – Trichostrongylus axei
- Intestinal hair worm – T. colubriformis
- Small intestinal worm – Cooperia spp
- Hookworm – Bunostomum phlebotomum
- Nodule worm – Oesophagostomum radiatum
Internal parasites – Adult only:
- Thin necked intestinal worm – Nematodirus spp
- Threadworm – Strongyloides papillosus
- Large roundworm – Toxocara vitulorum
- Whipworm – Trichuris spp
Other internal parasites:
- Liver fluke – Fasciola hepatica (adult stages)
- Lungworm – Dictyocaulus viviparus
- Eyeworm – Thelazia spp (adult stages)
External parasites:
- Sucking lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus
- Mites: Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis (control), Chorioptes bovis (aids in control)
- Cattle tick: Boophilus microplus including resistant strains
- Helps manage biting lice: Bovicola (Damalinia) bovis
Tick Control Notes
- Maximum efficacy is seen 4–5 days post-treatment
- Female ticks that drop early may still lay viable eggs
- Alternate with other products if re-treatment is needed inside the 28-day withholding period
Active Ingredients
Clorsulon @ 100 mg/mL
Ivermectin @ 10 mg/mL
Dose Rate and Administration
Inject subcutaneously in the anterior half of the neck at 1 mL per 50 kg liveweight.
- Do not inject intravenously or intramuscularly
- Use standard subcutaneous injection equipment
- Weigh a sample group to estimate correct dose
- Set dose to the heaviest animal in the group
- Separate into weight lines if needed
- Check injector calibration regularly
