Chicken Mite Treatment Kit

Chicken mites are a horrible experience for all chicken owners but the chances are if you are new to chickens you are going to experience it at some point. Once you have an infestation you will never let it happen again.

We recommend a 3 fold approach, first being treating the birds. Dunking them in a malaban wash, second spraying the coop and all nooks and crannies with Coopex then sprinkling pestene all over the coop, the chickens (Once dry) and the ground. Change the bedding material at the same time and if you have a large coop you can look into Hydrated lime.
