In 1983 the Robertson family purchased the site & built the chaffing side into the business. Peter Robertson’s passion for producing high quality lucerne saw Peter invest in chaffing machinery to produce lucerne chaff of the highest quality. The business is still family owned and is now operated by his son, Michael. Katunga Lucerne Mill continues to produce high quality lucerne chaff.
