What is Vitamin E?

*      An essential fat soluble non-toxic vitamin that plays a vital role in the optimum function of muscular, circulatory, nervous and immune systems.

Why do I need Vitamin E?

*      When horses exercise, their muscles produce ‘free radicals’ which can be toxic to the body.  Dietary deficiencies of vitamin E and/or Selenium in pregnant and lactating mares can cause nutritional muscular dystrophy in foals.
