Ram Harness MatingMark is a proven tool used during joining to confirm that ewes are cycling and rams are actively working. It’s a simple and cost-effective way to monitor mating progress and improve lambing management through accurate grouping and pasture planning.

Why use a MatingMark harness?

Fitted with coloured crayons, the harness leaves a visible mark on each ewe covered by a ram. This helps identify:

• Which rams are serving
• Unmated or non-cycling ewes
• Non-pregnant ewes for rejoining or segregation

It also allows producers to create lambing groups based on joining dates, improving feed efficiency and management outcomes.
