As daylight hours shorten and temperatures drop, chickens naturally slow or stop egg laying and redirect energy into moulting. Supplementing with meat and bone meal during this time can help them regrow feathers faster and potentially return to laying sooner, depending on their health and seasonal conditions.

Feeding Instructions

Mix a heaped tablespoon per four chickens into a mash or dampened pellets two to three times a week. Alternatively, offer meat and bone meal in a separate dish, similar to how shell grit is provided. Chickens will regulate their intake based on their nutritional needs.
