iMEC Broad Spectrum Wormer and Boticide for Horses

iMEC Broad Spectrum Wormer and boticide for horses treats roundworms and bots. This ivermectin horse wormer targets adult and larval stages, including arterial Strongylus vulgaris. It does not cover tapeworm.

What does iMEC Broad Spectrum do?

• Treats and controls roundworms, including benzimidazole resistant strongyles.
• Controls bots.
• Helps manage summer sores caused by Habronema and Draschia spp.
• Targets Onchocerca spp. microfilariae.

Active Constituents

• Ivermectin 18.7 g/kg

Dosage and Administration

Give orally at 200 µg ivermectin per kg liveweight.

• One syringe treats one 700 kg horse or two 350 kg ponies.
• Each plunger mark delivers 1.07 g of paste, enough for 100 kg.

Is it safe for all horses?

Yes. Suitable for foals, pregnant and lactating mares, and breeding stallions.

Does it cover all worms?

No. It does not treat tapeworm. Include a praziquantel product in your rotation.
