How does it work?

Bomectin disrupts nerve and muscle cells in parasites, causing paralysis and death. Because it targets both adult and immature stages, it gives better control across the parasite lifecycle.

Which parasites are targeted?

In cattle: It treats gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, lice (biting and sucking), eyeworms, mites and cattle tick. It also helps manage screw worm fly.

In pigs: It controls roundworms, kidney worms, lice, mange mites and lungworms. Treating sows before farrowing can reduce the chance of Strongyloides being passed to piglets.

How to dose

• Cattle: 1mL per 50kg bodyweight
• Pigs: 1mL per 33kg bodyweight

The injection can be given subcutaneously or intramuscularly, depending on preference and handling setup.
